Image Capture Plus Enables Versatile Image Processing

Image Capture Plus is an application that transfers image data scanned by a Panasonic
high-speed document scanner to a PC in the form of an image file. This software lets you
edit scanned pages (switch pages, delete pages, etc.) intuitively using thumbnail images.
It also allows you to make various settings to facilitate complex scanning processes and
serves as a powerful tool for efficiently processing routine business work, such as filing.

Stapled Document Detection Multiple sensors are used to detect various types of stapled documents, and to immediately stop the scanner when a stapled document is detected. This minimizes damage to both the document and the optical glass
Ultrasonic Double Feed Detection The KV-S5055C is equipped with an ultrasonic double feed detection sensor, which accurately detects double feeding even when scanning documents of various thicknesses.
Double Feed Skip Key Sometimes when double-fed documents are mis-detected due to affixed labels or thicker paper. In this case, simply press the Double Feed Skip key on the control panel and the unit will continue scanning.
Ionizer The ion-filled breeze created by the ionizer neutralizes the electrical charge on the documents being scanned and reduces the amount of paper dust that clings to the surface of the optical glass.
Scanning Glass Cleaning Brush This brush directly cleans the scan glass to help reduce the amount of paper dust accumulation. This process, along with the Ionizer, helps to reduce the amount of maintenance necessary.
